Welcome To Phoenix Children Foundation
Phoenix Children Foundation is a community-based organization that was established in 2020 to advance children’s rights in Uganda. Our mission is to promote the wellbeing and development of children in our community as we hope to advance to a national level through education, advocacy, and support.
Implemented five successful projects across the country with two incoming program
Over 3000 children and communities have been impacted and supported by our initiatives
130 volunteers have joined our community in the past year from all over the global south, providing valuable support and expertise

Education

Climate Change
We address the impact of climate change on children’s well-being and rights, supporting.
Peace & Security For Children
We ensure children’s peace, security, and well-being in conflict zones and fragile regions. Our work includes youth-led peace building, humanitarian aid, preventing child
recruitment.
Child Health
Our primary attention is directed toward ensuring the overall well-being and development of children through health education, immunization, deworming, hygiene, and sanitation interventions.
Our Programs
In 2021, to effectively fight child labour, Phoenix Children Foundation Uganda adopted a rights-based approach to provide technical support, putting the Protect, Respect, Remedy Framework into action for businesses, governments, unions and more.
Education
We are committed to ensuring that every child has access to quality and inclusive education. We achieve this by conducting outreaches and designing tailored projects that cater to their specific needs in both formal and non-formal settings
Environmental Education
We are committed to providing equitable access to environmental education for all children and their communities through our tailored projects designed to achieve our primary objectives.
Child Health
This program aims to help children with vision problems or eye diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma, or trachoma. Our goal is to identify, scan, and refer children in need of interventions, such as glasses, eye drops, surgery, or other treatments.
On Child's rights Spotlight
It is a digital talk series program that delves into the various facets of child rights through a range of episodes led by experts. Each session aims to provide insights into the challenges and successes in child advocacy, creating a platform for discussion, learning, and collective action.
